Red Plating Montipora Frags are a great choice if you are looking to move onto hard corals or just looking for a impressive plating corals to create a overhang. It is one of the easier hard corals and can grow well given the correct environment.
Looking after Red Plating Montipora Frags
Plating motipora is one of the hardier montipora corals available. Good quality lighting is important but they are happy in a lower area of your aquarium. If you place it higher bare in mind that it will shadow corals below it as it grows. Moderate to high flow is important to prevent detritus from settling on it.
Stable Calcium, Magnesium and KH are important. Test your water regularly to understand your aquarium needs and dose accordingly.
