Algae is a great way to export nutrients such as nitrate and phosphate from your marine aquarium helping to prevent other less desirable algae growth in locations such as on glass and rock.

The best way to use algae in your marine tank for exporting nutrients is in a refugium. This can be an area of a sump or a separate tank where its purpose is to grow algae and harbor other inhabitants such as copepods. It is popular to have some type of sand bed sometimes mixed in with a type of mud mix along with some rubble for animals to live in and algae to grow on.

All deliveries (excluding pallets and livestock deliveries) over £50.00 will be sent via 1-2 day courier free of charge. Orders under £50.00 will have both a 2-3 day service available at £3.95 and a 1-2 day service at £5.95 offered.
